A COURSE IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY

Doing a course in a foreign country is always a good opportunity to meet

new people from all over the world, to improve your languages, and visit

a new place.

Last summer I went to Cambridge (United Kingdom) to do an English

course of fifteen days. I learnt a lot of things, especially from the English

culture but also from others, due to the great amount of people from

different countries.

In the mornings we had lessons, we did exercises, some grammar,

a lot of speaking and games to improve or knowledge in English. In the

afternoons we had some activities planned, like going to the swimming

pool, to some museums and main buildings of the city, going punting, or

going shopping; but if we didn’t like some of them, we could do whatever

we wanted. At the weekends, we had our best activity: going to London,

where we visited the main and typical places.

I had been dreaming aboutdoing a course in England all my life and it

didn't disappoint me at all. If I could, I would like to go again this summer.

I encourage everybody who likes languages and travelling to try it.
